Real
Stories From Real People:"I had just given up my second job and
had a lot of time on my hand. I wanted to put my time
to good use. Then I remembered when I was a teen I
would volunteer at the local elementary school. I
actually went on and received a BA in English after
high school, but I just never was able to use my skills
on my job, although I continued writing. I found out
about the IBSG tutorial program because my niece was
attending the program. I immediately called the program
director to find out how I could become involved.
I’ve been volunteering for the program over
2 years and it’s been one of the best decisions
I could’ve made."
