Program overview:
The After-School Therapeutic program is a facility
based, comprehensive, therapeutic program which is
offered to children and adolescents. It is a structured
clinical program intended to develop skills and foster
social role integration through a range of social,
behavioral and cognitive interventions. The youth
are able to express and develop themselves in ways
that they aren’t able to in a regular educational
setting. The After-School Therapeutic program is curriculum
driven through the use of the following methods:
• Art and play therapy
• Individual and group therapy
• Medication management
• Psychological/Educational testing and assessment
• Nutritious meal and transportation services
are provided
